Usually, just a layer is enough along with socks or cotton mittens. However, if you have the heater on and it is blasting inside the room, you may have to consider the room \u2013 temperature and make the baby wear a onesie or shirt. You can pair it up with a footed pajama. Check the room temperature before you make your baby wear a woollen warm shirt, tights and socks.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"outside-the-house\">Outside the House<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You may not like to be inside your house with your baby all the time. You may want to take the baby out along with you and the rest of the family. Ensure that you won\u2019t make them wear bulky coats when you\u2019re outside.\u00a0Also, try to avoid bulky garments if you\u2019re travelling with your baby in a car. That will be suffocating for your baby. Instead, choose warm tops like a sweater or fleece shirt with hoodies or hats and thin \u2013 close-fitting layers for your baby\u2019s bottom like tights or leggings. Don\u2019t forget your baby\u2019s socks whenever you\u2019re going out with your little one.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"baby-skin-care-in-winter\">Baby Skin Care in Winter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to low humidity in the air during the cold season, it will be difficult for the baby\u2019s skin to maintain hydration levels. Moreover, the barrier layer is responsible for sealing the moisture in the baby\u2019s skin. This layer keeps the moisture of the baby\u2019s skin locked. It takes at least 2 to 4 years for an infant\u2019s skin barrier to develop properly. That layer, however, loses water during the winters making the baby\u2019s skin flaky and dry.
