As your baby might catch a cold if you\u2019re bathing him or her immediately after birth. Once you bring your baby home, with your child\u2019s specialist\u2019s suggestion, you can add bath time to your baby\u2019s routine. You can also start by sponge bathing your baby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-to-give-your-newborn-a-sponge-bath\">How To Give Your Newborn a Sponge Bath?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sponge bathing your newborn baby<strong> <\/strong>is the best and simplest way to clean your baby till such time that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cordlifeindia.com\/blog\/importance-cord-connects-baby\/\">your baby\u2019s umbilical cord stump falls off within 10 to 14 days after your baby\u2019s birth<\/a>. Following these steps might make your work easy:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>You need a warm room with a flat surface \u2013 maybe your bathroom, kitchen counter, changing table, or your bed.<br><\/li><li>Take a soft blanket or towel or changing pad, spread it out on the flat surface.<br><\/li><li>Bring your little one to the room, undress him or her, and make your little one lie down on the flat area. You might use a plastic tub or sink for it. You\u2019ll need a baby soap, shampoo, a hooded baby towel, a soft flannel, cotton balls, a soft baby brush, and some warm water in the tub. Remember the water should not be more than 2 inches in the tub and the temperature also should not be more than 38<sup>0<\/sup>c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Gently lower your baby in the newborn\u2019s bathtub after you\u2019ve undressed him or her. Well!
